Our dogs were originally imported from Turkey, and have been hand selected for generations by herders for protection. Not pets.
If you aren't a shepherd, then we won't sell you a dog.
We are ranchers. Not dog breeders. Because of this we have a long lineage of selecting for lower prey drive dogs that protect sheep. Not kill them.
Every dog breeder claims that their dogs have guardian attributes. However, few breeders ranch making selecting for desirable genetics nearly impossible.

Wolfs, coyotes, and stray dogs don't stand a chance against our LGD. The Kangal has an unmatched bite force of 740 psi compared to a wolf at 400 psi, coyote at 88 psi, and pit bull at 235 psi.

Great Pyrenees
Fence jumpers, car chasers, too aggressive/ not smart enough to distinguish a true threat, roamers, hit by a car or shot in a couple years.
Anatolian Shepherd
Watered down kangal (Americanized version), smaller, lighter, less agile, less protective, less reactive to threats, more likely to roam, more likely to be sheep/ lamb killers
Maremma
Useless against predators given their very small & lightweight body, roamers

We know how hard it it to find ranchers that sell started and trained livestock guardian dogs.
Dogs that are bonded to sheep, live in a flerd with cows, are hotwire broke...
We are ranchers first. Not dog breeders.
Everybody has heard, or experinenced, wrecks of LGD's killing sheep. Breeders that don't ranch can't select for lower prey drive protective instincts.
Our dogs are 100% born & raised on pasture with sheep and cows.
